Edmund Salvage Company
In 1942 amateur photographer Norman W. Edmund (1916 - 2012) founded a mail order business, known as Edmund Salvage Corporation, where he sold kits of lenses from salvaged surplus optics, the company later changed it's name to Edmund Scientific ca. 1950.
