View All Objects
Peyer, Favarger & Cie was founded by two engineers Peyer and Favarger who worked for Matthäus Hipp (1813 - 1893), a well known clockmaker. In 1889 he left the factory in their charge and after his death in 1893, the two of them renamed the company and began manufacturing scientific instruments under the name Peyer, Favarger & Cie.
